Ashika II was moved to a warm place before the snow, so her extensive refit began. Deck equipment will be replaced, what Uroš broke last year will be repaired, all electrical wiring will be reinstalled, and new sails are on the wish list. The main undertaking, however, will be the “facelift” proposed by her nautical architect Sam Manuard. Uroš will saw off part of the front part of the sailboat and replace it with a flatter, wider, or as Sam calls it, spade bow.
